Numerous crimes are committed at different railway stations and metro stations in Delhi. Though police stations are available to look into such cases, the direct intervention of senior police officers is sometimes required.
“With the rising crime against the North East people in metro cities especially Delhi, the ACP Railways of Delhi Police has been nominated as the Nodal Officer for Railways and Metro for crime against North East people,” informed IGP Robin Hibu, Nodal Officer for North East People in Delhi Police.
