CCPur, August 31, 2014: Two community halls and one water supply scheme were inaugurated on Saturday by Ginsuanhau, MLA of 60- Singhat Assembly Constituency in the remote villages situated along the Indo-Myanmar border in Churachandpur district.

Of the two community halls constructed under Manipur Development Society, one is at S.Geltui and the other at S Zezaw villages, while the water supply scheme is in S Zezaw village under Singhat sub-division of Churachandpur district.

During the inaugural function, MLA Ginsuanhau, Th.Baite, EE, PHED, Churachandpur, and Khamthang, Special Contractor attended as chief guest, guest of Honour, and functional president respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Ginsuanhau said that villagers of Singhat areas in Singngat A/C have got five community halls under MDS fund, and five water supply schemes.

Ten village chiefs of S.Geltui, Panglian, L Phaimual, Muallum, S Phaiza, MT Geltam, M Tanglian, Kullian, and S Munhoih were also present during the inaugural function of the community halls and the water supply scheme.
