NNC holds consultation with church organization

Dimapur, September 2, 2014: With the objective to usher a cordial relationship with the various church organization, to seek God’s wisdom and intervention in the service of the Naga nation, Naga National Council held a consultative meet with Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, Executive Secretary, ABAM (Impur) and Rev. Dr. Joshua Rochill, Executive Secretary, SBAK (Aizuto) and staff at their respective centre on August 29. NNC President Temjenyanger Aier and General Secretary Dr. Amento Chishi led the team.

The meet deliberated on the aims and objectives of the NNC under the leadership of Temjenyanger Aier and to usher peace amongst various Naga political groups. Rev. Dr. Joshua Rochill, ES SBAK Aizuto exhorted to serve the Nation with honour and dignity and not to serve for self-benefit or profits etc while Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger read out bible passage from 1 Peter 2: 9, 10 and encouraged to serve the nation with humility and sincerity.

NNC General Secretary Dr. Amento Chishi in a press release stated that the NNC Also appreciates Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo for warmly welcome with prayer on August 6.
