Scholarships for ST/SC students by ONGC for 2014

New Delhi, September 14, 2014: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is offering scholarships to meritorious SC/ST students pursuing professional courses in engineering, medical stream and masters degree courses in business administration, geology and geophysics.

The last date for submission of duly completed application form is September 30, 2014. The total numbers of scholarship for the academic session is 500 numbers and the age limit is maximum 30 years as on October 1, 2014.

The eligibility criterion for the candidate is a minimum of 60% marks in 12th class for engineering and MBBS disciplines. Similarly, 60% marks are necessary in graduation for PG course i.e. geology/geophysics and MBA. Overall grade points average of minimum 6.0 in 10 points of scale of grading system.

The gross annual income of the family of the candidate from all scores should not be more than Rs. 4.5 lakhs annually (i.e. Rs. 37,500 per month).
