Tamenglong, September 29, 2014: With the inventor and batteries installed in the power sub- station of Tamenglong has been damaged, installation of new ones will be completed in five days time.
The dream to have regular electricity in the town is likely to be fulfilled after five days.
This was informed by the Deputy General Manager, Tamenglong Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited during a meeting held at the office chamber of ADM Tamenglong today.
Tamenglong district has been in total blackout for nearly five months ago, since then the Zeliangrong frontal organisations have been demanding regular electric supply and had meetings with district administration and agitators.
