The sixteen teams representing various communities and States of the North East Region will be participating in the tournament are Hmar FC, Kangleicha Sanaroi Lup, Muvanlai FC, United Rhino, Barhungkha FC, Delhi Mizo FC, Nagaland FC, Senapati FC, ASUD FC, Garo Warrior FC, Sikkim Gambos FC, Wung United, Arunachal FC, Zeliangrong FC, Nyishi FC and SSPP.
The group draw for the tournament will be held on October 6 at 11 am at Arunachal Bhavan, Kautilya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The tournament, which was first organised in 2007 in memory of late RN Tamchon (former ACP, Delhi) intended to promote peace, friendship, unity and interaction through sports amongst the people of North East.
Last year's trophy was lifted by the Hmar FC who defeated the Kangleicha Sanaroi Lup in the final.
