Speaking to reporters this morning somewhere in Sadar Hills, S Tommy Kuki, Finance Secretary of the outfit expressed serious concern that there are many extortion and monetary demands in the name of KNO/KRA (U) without the knowledge of the outfit’s finance dept along the National Highway between Senapati and Sapormeina.
He clarified that the department of finance of the outfit has never indulged in such activities and never entrusted any individual to carry out such activities.
He said that he is the only authorised person to deal in any finance related matter of the outfit.
S Tommy Kuki urged those involved in such activities in the name of KNO/KRA (U) to immediately stop and surrender to the outfit before the outfit takes fitting action.
Tommy Kuki appealed to the general public not to entertain such monetary demand and extortion without the outfit’s finance dept letterhead issued by the finance secretary.
