A statement issued by the MSCW demanded that such brutal killings of people from NE be stopped lest the relations between the people of NE and mainland India become uncordial.
Further, the MSCW also decided to apprise the Union Ministry of Home and National Commission for Women, New Delhi its ire and to demand immediate measures to solve such problems and to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
