Joint body of editors, publishers formed

Imphal, August 27, 2014: A joint body christened as Editors and Publishers' Association of Manipur (EPAM) has been formed during a joint meeting of the newspaper editors and publishers held at the Literary Hall of Hueiyen Lanpao, Sega Road, Thouda Bhabok Leikai here at around 2 pm today.

The main objective and vision of the Association is to work towards solving the problems face by media houses in Manipur collectively so as to improve the working condition, according to a statement issued by Convenor of the meeting Sh Gautam Sharma.

Informing that representative of Impact TV was also present in today's meeting, the statement further appealed to other media houses and newspapers which could not make it to the meeting today to join the Association.
