The incident came when public memory is still fresh with a similar abominable incident when one Ravinkumar, an Assam Rifles personnel, was rounded up by students after he was seen gesturing before girl students in a sexually explicit manner on August 21 .
The young boy who was behaving in a kinky manner was rounded up at around 11.45 am today.
Some girl students were coming to the hostel when the boy jumped out and tried to show his genital. Then he chased the girls totally naked.
On seeing the bizarre scene, hostellers and commuters overpowered the boy and he was later handed over to Imphal police station.
GP Women's College hostel superintendent has also submitted a report to the police. According to the report, the boy was seen loitering around the hostel since the last two-three months. The superintendent further urged befitting actions against the boy.
