During a programme held at Tiddim road, Nehru mark, IB Road junction, PK Jha IAS, DC of Churachandpur asserted that the district administration will collaborate with organisers to work for the betterment of Lamka Town.
The CEO of ADCC, on the occasion, lauded the organisers and added that their effort would help educate the public about a good social behaviour.
He further stressed on the importance of non-government organisations or the public to initiate such work in future as well.
The programme was organised by CT Lian Convenience Store and media persons particularly the Churachandpur Reporters Association (CRA) .
The function was also attended by the CEO of ADCC Manmuanching MCS, leaders of ZYA, ZSF, YPA apart from the chief of Lamka town, Thangkhosuanmung Guite.
Chairman of CRA Biak Tonsing appealed the residents of Lamka to learn to keep the surroundings neat and clean.
CT Lian, Co-ordinator of the project said that they had been initiating similar activity in the past but due to lack of public awareness, it failed to yield positive effect.
