This was announced by Kethosietuo (Elvis) Mepfhiio managing director 3E at the press conference Sunday at its office Dzevi building near Kohima local ground.
According to Mepfhiio this year there would be four categories lightweight (below 65 kg), middleweight (65 to 78kg), heavyweight (above 78kg) and junior category ( 14 years and below as on October 31 2014). The champion of the first three categories will walk become richer by Rs. 50,000 each, runner-up Rs. 30,000 and two semi-finalists will get Rs. 10,000 each and certificates for all categories.
The final series – King of the ring championship (16 best from each category 1st, 2nd and 3rd series) will receive Rs. 75,000 and one brand new bike, runner-up Rs. 50,000 and 20,000 each for semi-finalists.
Managing director said that the registration will begin from September 10 till October 10 at 3E office Dzevi building 2nd floor opposite UBC near Kohima local ground (north gate). Wrestlers have been asked to come personally for weight measurement and registration.
