COHSEEA warns

Imphal, October 5, 2014: Demanding immediate revocation of a Govt order for the appointment of a new Chairman of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), the Council of Higher Secondary Education Employees' Association, Manipur has warned of launching cease work strike from October 7.

A statement issued by the Secretary of the Association, L Robindro Singh said that it was unfortunate that an order for appointment of a new Chairman of the Council has been issued at a time when confidential works for Class XI and higher secondary exam 2015 have been initiated under the supervision of the incumbent Chairman.

Asserting that the move is ill-timed, the association urged the authority concerned to immediately rescind the order in view of the upcoming Council examination slated for February next year.
