Dimapur, October 2, 2014: The Bible Society of India (BSI), Dimapur Auxiliary released Chothe Naga New Testament on September 28 at Phaipi Christian Centre, near Pallel, Manipur.
Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill, Senior Auxiliary Secretary, Dimapur Auxiliary released the Bible. In his message, Rochill reminded that Israelites spent three hours reading law of God and another three hours confessing their sins (Nehemiah 9:3). Likewise, he encouraged the Chothe Naga community to read the Word of God and confess sins, so that God will bless Chothe Naga community.
Rev. Hranum Khiang, Executive Secretary, Chothe Naga Baptist Churches Association appreciated BSI ministry for making God’s word available in Chothe Naga dialect. People from different denominations participated in the release programme expressing their joy in the Lord, according to press note issued by Y. Sarender, President of Chothe Naga Baptist Association.
