The Secretary General, SOS Village, has already given his consent in writing for swapping of the Village land with the AAI land.<br /> <br /> The construction of the hangar on the swapped land will facilitate development of the LGBI Airport. This decision will also help in greater social inclusion of the north-eastern region. The construction of three hangars to park a large number of aircraft will facilitate increase in the number of scheduled and non-scheduled operators to meet the growing traffic demand.<br /> <br /> Source: Assam Tribune<br />
