Guwahati, August 29, 2014: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) sponsored three-day Grassroots Coaching programme came to an end at the SAI Regional Sub Centre campus here today. The basic objective of the camp was to train the coaches to look after the youngsters in the State.

Altogether 31 coaches took part in the camp where AIFF instructress Anju Turambekar taught them how to train beginners.

Having demonstration with a group of young players, Turambekar explained how to teach beginners on various skills of the game.

Assam Football Association secretary Ankur Dutta in the closing function said they have invited coaches from different districts to undergo training in the camp so that similar method could be applied while training beginners.

Turambekar revealed that she got excellent support from all the coaches and the organisers in running the camp. All the participating coaches were handed over certificates provided by the AIFF.
