A notification from the DMC informed that once the garbage is lifted by DMC vehicles, no one is allowed to throw garbage in the said dustbin/collection point in any way.
The DMC lamented that business establishments and offices are in the habit of throwing garbage on the roadside while closing their establishments and cautioned that this is against the norms, “especially from a sanitary point of view.”
It further appealed to all denizens and residents not to throw any kind of tree trunks with leaves in the garbage bins. The DMC cautioned that violators of this order will be penalized as per the provision of the law, which may lead to imposition of fines.
