Police said, a gang of around six armed miscreants barged into the trader’s rented house, located on the Helipad road at Naharlagun, around 8.30 pm last night and dragged him out.
He was fired upon when he refused to accompany the miscreants before he was forced into a car parked near the building and whisked away from the scene. The miscreants also took away his car, the SP said. On getting information, police rushed to the scene and found bloodstains in front of the trader’s residence. Later, a police search team recovered two vehicles suspected to be used by the kidnappers.
