New Delhi, September 3, 2014: Budget carrier AirAsia India has come up with yet another discount offer. The airline is offering all-in fares from Rs. 1,290 on different routes. This offer is applicable on bookings till September 7, 2014, and travel period between September 5, 2014 and December 11, 2014.

Under this offer, tickets from Bangalore to Chennai and Kochi and vice versa start from Rs. 1,290. On Bangalore to Goa and vice versa, the promotional fare starts from Rs. 1,690.

AirAsia India currently operates in the Bangalore to Kochi, Chennai, and Goa sectors. From September 5, AirAsia India will start flights from Bangalore to Jaipur and Bangalore to Chandigarh. This would be the budget carrier’s first push into north India.Under this same promotional offer, Bangalore to Chandigarh and Jaipur and vice versa tickets are priced from Rs. 3,490.

AirAsia India, a three-way venture between Malaysia-based AirAsia Berhad, Tata Group and investment firm Telestra Tradeplace, had launched its debut flight on June 12.

Budget carrier SpiceJet is also offering tickets for next year at a promotional fare from Rs. 499. This offer is applicable for bookings made till September, 3 2014 and travel date between January 16, 2015, and October 24, 2015 (both dates inclusive). The fares are inclusive of fuel surcharge but all statutory taxes and fees are to be paid by the passenger as applicable on the date of travel. This promotional offer is only valid on SpiceJet’s domestic network. The fares under this sale are non-refundable and non- changeable.

A day after budget carrier SpiceJet announced fares starting at Rs. 499 across its domestic network, Jet Airways has also jumped on the bandwagon rolling out Rs. 500 fare for the economy class on domestic flights for a limited period. The all-inclusive fares of the Mumbai-headquartered carrier start from Rs. 500 excluding statutory taxes.

Customers will be able to enjoy these discounts across all destinations on the airlines’ domestic network, Jet Airways said in a release. Bookings under the offer, however, can be made only in two days starting Wednesday, the airline said. The scheme is for travel from January 16, 2015.

Budget carrier IndiGo has also come up with a promotional scheme with fares starting from an all-inclusive Rs. 999. This promotional offer is available on bookings of 90 days or more in advance of the travel date.

This offer from IndiGo comes just a week after the airline had announced a promotional offer a week ago in which prices started from Rs. 1,887.
