Imphal, September 13, 2014: A two-day national seminar, jointly organised by National Research Centre (NRC) and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) under the theme, ‘Ethnic Relation in Manipur - Past, Present and Future’ has kick started at Kangla Hall, Imphal from today.

VE and Head of Office of SCERT, Aheibam Romel and NRC Founder President Prof (Retd) MS Ningomba attended the inaugural function as chief guest and president respectively.

Aheibam Romel said that different communities are residing in Manipur though it is a tiny State.

As such there need to include the culture and tradition of these communities in the school syllabus, he added.

It would be better if the aspects of culture and tradition of these communities are published as a text book, he observed.

Speaking at the occasion, MS Ningomba said that human mind controls every aspects of life.

So people must learn to think positive, he added.
