New Delhi, October 5, 2014: Chinese brand Xiaomi, which startled the Indian smartphone market with the launch of Mi3 is reportedly planning to play another round of sales on the festive occasion. Yet again in an exclusive tie up with Flipkart, it has announced 'a special festive surprise' for consumers who couldn't buy the Mi3 smartphone in the previous attempts.

In the coming round of festive sale, Xiaomi will put up 25,000 units of Flipkart on October 6, and those who are willing to buy it need not register in advance or follow the process like previous flash sales. Instead device will be added to the cart of chosen 25,000 people without registration.

The selected users for the sale will be informed beforehand on October 5, following which, they will have just an hour or two to purchase Mi3 on October 6. Further if all the users form the first lot do not buy the smartphone, remaining units will be passed on to the second lot of selected users, the same day.

Reportedly, Xiaomi has sold over 3,00,000 Mi3 and Redmi 1S- which was introduced just two months back.
