Teen Raped Inside Vehicle; Abandoned In Forest

Namchi, August 23, 2014: As per the report from South District Headquarter Namchi, two person named Saimon Damai aged 26 years and Asish Pariyar aged 18 years were arrested on raping 17 years old minor.

According to Sikkim Police social media page wire report, the victim was forced intoxicated inside a vehicle bearing registration no SK 04 P 0162 , after raping her the duo absconded leaving victim at Dabua Forest near Namchi at around 4 :00 PM in evening.

Both culprits are from Mikhola near Namchi Culprits are booked under case u/s 376/34 IPC r/w Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offense, 2012 has been registered at Namchi Police Station. Incident took place on 22 August evening, reports Sikkim Police Facebook Media Page.

A repeated sexual crime against the woman in small state Sikkim just another within a week has raised a question on society. The state of Sikkim state also bears rapid suicide surge in national index as per the NCRB followed by crime against women.
