The artists, hailing from Assam, Tripura and Manipur exhibited their recent works done in various media and based on socio-cultural themes in this show that contained 34 works.
The participating artists are – Munindra Narayan Bhattacharjyee (Assam), Chandan Mazumder (Tripura), Raj Kumar Mazinder (Assam), Prabin Kumar Nath (Assam), Manika Devi (Assam), Niva Devi (Assam), Joydeep Bhattacharyee (Tripura), Ishwor Leishangthem (Manipur), Aditi Chakravarty (Assam), Sansita Gogoi (Assam), Meena Laisaram (Manipur) and Jyotirmoy Bhuyan (Assam).
The exhibition was inaugurated on the Sept 13 by Dr AK Das, Tagore Fellow, IGNCA, New Delhi and graced by Dr Sangeeta Dutta, Janapada Sampada, IGNCA, New Delhi and artist Shovin Bhattacharya.
