Kiphire, September 2, 2014: Assorted IMFL bottles, worth Rs. 3 lakh, seized by 46 Assam Rifle personnel in Kiphire, was destroyed at Pungro Junction Kiphire in the presence of the district administration, police officer, district judicial magistrate and GBs and DBs Joint Forum Kiphire.
A total of 56 cases of Beer and 26 case of rum that was caught by the 46 Assam Rifle Kiphire on August 28 and 29 respectively near Kiphire were kept under the custody of the District Judicial Magistrate Kiphire and was destroyed today.
