Ebola check post at Jiribam opened

Jiribam, September 12, 2014: As part of a preventive measure against the Ebola Virus Disease, a check post against the deadly disease has been opened at Jiribam after similar posts were opened at Mao Gate, Moreh and at the Imphal Tulihal Airport by the Directorate of Health Services Manipur and State Epidemiologist.

However, due to lack of staff, doctors and nurses from the Community Health Centre, Jiribam have been used to man the check post.
