Home Secretary in Imphal

Imphal, September 9, 2014: Soon after learning about the Ukhrul ambush, the Ministry of Home Affairs deputed Special Secretary Prakash Mishra to the State.

Accordingly, Prakash Mishra arrived here this afternoon and held a series of meeting with officials of the State Government.

He would be staying in the State for the next couple of days so as to monitor the security situation prevailing in the State, particularly in Ukhrul town.
